KPK Board of Technical Education Peshawar KPBTE

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Board of Technical Education was established in 1973 and its purpose is to arrange, adjust and administer commercial, technical, vocational and computer education below degree level in the whole province of KPK and the tribal areas. All the public and institutes of KPK and FATA which offer certificate and degree level education in the fields of technical, commercial, vocational and computer education are affiliated with KPBTE. Exams of different disciplines are held during their respective time table every year and all the students of regular and private institutes appear in the exams every year.

Admissions in all the institutes affiliated with KPBT starts according to a schedule. These admissions start two or three months before the start of the regular classes while the admissions complete within time. For every discipline, there is a different time table of admission because annual exams for all the discipline are separate and the new academic year of all the disciplines starts at different times.

It is very important for the students of KPBTE to use model papers and past papers in order to get good marks in the exams. Model papers inform the students about the new paper pattern and examination syllabus adopted by the board while students can know about important questions from examinational point of view through the past papers. Model papers are available from the official site of the technical board while past papers can be purchased from the market.

Date sheets and roll number slips are issued by KPBTE according to a regular schedule. Date sheets are issued two months before the start of the exams while roll number slips are issued one month before the start of the exams. Both date sheets and roll number slips are issued to the institutes of the students and can also be downloaded from the official site of KPBTE in case of any problem.

KPBTE issues the results of the annual exams of all the disciplines of education including D.Com, DIT and others after two to three months of the exams. Soon after the result announcement, the results are displayed at the site of the board while the students can also receive their result cards from their related institute few days after the result announcement.
